About the company
The firm RETRE s.r.o. has been operating on the Czech market since 1996. Since its beginnings the firm has been engaged in business activities as a glass processor and a sub-contractor for deliveries of all sorts of glazed constructions and metal works for the building industry. Around the year 2000 the company started its own research in the fire-rated glass manufacturing process. After its completion and successful certification of the first prototypes, we launched our own production. From the very beginning, our proprietary fire-resistant glass has been marketed under the registered trademark ANTIFIRE with the respective fire-rating class ear-mark. Thus, RETRE has become yet another manufacturer of this commodity in the Czech Republic and, generally, one of very few producers of the fire-rated glass on a global scale.

The glass shown in the table have been approved by the testing institutes of FIRES Batizovce (Slovakia) in the Jansen System of Switzerland – the steel (EI 30 + EI 60) and PAVUS Veselí nad Lužnicí (CZ) in the Hartmann-Hueck System of Germany SRN – aluminium (EI 15 = EW30 + EI 30) for external use and meets the prescribed STN EN 1364-1:2001 norms, which we can establish by presenting the necessary test certificates. At the present time, we are preparing for the antifire tests of EI 120 glass.
Our antifire glass is UV stable for indoor and outdoor use, for vertical and horizontal glazing, the temperature range of use –20oC to + 50oC, decibel absorption 42-46 dB and passage of light 85%. We can supply precisely made-to-measure glass as you require and the largest tested dimension for all resistance is 1500 x 2500 mm.
